After getting a teaser trailer at Comic Con, and the teaser poster of Iron Man and War Machine, they finally gave us THE official trailer for Iron Man 2. I'm having geekasms right now.

Super Street Fighter IV - New Fighters Trailer Part 2

This single video just made my day. When Capcom officially announced that Cody, Guy, and Adon will be joining the new cast of SSFIV alongside T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and Juri, I was really excited for this game.

And now Capcom has released a new trailer featuring some Guy, Cody, and Adon action! I'm really hyped up for this! Guy and Adon looks badass!

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Trailer

DC has been continuously releasing new animated films lately. Just this year, they've released three direct-to-DVD animated films - Wonder Woman, Green Lantern: First Flight, and Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. In my opinion, they're all much better than the ones from Marvel.

As if that wasn't enough, they showed a new trailer for their upcoming animated film, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. This takes on the "Crisis" canon depicting parallel worlds in the DC Universe and putting it to film. For this film, the Crime Syndicate and the Justice League duke it out.

Green Lantern Corps #42 was released last week and that really was a shocker issue for me. A lot of things happened in that issue, and I mean a LOT. However, one particular scene in that issue really caught me off guard. It was totally unexpected for me that that was the reason Guy Gardner turns into a Red Lantern. I wasn't able to read the solicits for that particular issue but I doubt DC would put it there.

It seems the pacing of events in this Green Lantern Corps issue went slow then finally accelerated in the end. Peter Tomasi crams in several things in the book. But when you put in a lot of content in a 22-page comic book, you're sure to get something disappointing in return.

The book contains a lot of action and fights. In fact, the whole book is just full of fighting - undead children with their undead parents trying to kill Green Lanterns mixed in with a Red Lantern killing all those undead Lanterns.

Parallax Returns...Again?

I was browsing through the solicitations for DC Comics in January of next year and I came across this cover for Green Lantern #50. What's so intriguing about this cover is it shows a character that I haven't seen for years - Hal Jordan as Parallax.

This maniac killed every Green Lantern there is and eventually destroyed the planet of Oa. However, I still find him as a cool villain, even if he was just a way to later introduce Kyle Rayner as the last Green Lantern.

So will we see him again next year?

Bendis announced a new "Marvel event" called Siege, where the Dark Reign of Norman Osborn will end. It's a four-issue mini series that will start in January next year.

After months of saving up (starving myself and looking away from statues), I finally got myself a TE fight stick for the PS3! Every fighting game enthusiast should have one of these to get the arcade feel right at home.

Saving Up For a Stick

 I like fighting games very much. I used to go to arcades every week just to have some good competition. But with the age of powerful consoles, one can now play at home online. However, it wouldn't be complete without using an arcade stick.

That's one thing I like about playing in the arcades. Aside from good players, I like using the sticks. It gives better control over the gameplay. So that's why I'm gonna get myself this.

1st Metro Comic-Con 2009

The first ever local Comic-Con took place today at SM Megamall. Was it a blast? Was it any good? I had some high expectations in this event. And you know what happens when expect too high.

San Diego Comic-Con 2009

Yeah right. I could only wish I was there geeking out with thousands of other geeks. This is where it's at. Comic books, statues, toys, movies, everything, it's all right here! This is actually the biggest Comic-Con event every year, where major announcements and reveals take place in the world of pop culture.

This is not a report mind you, because I'm actually on the other side of the globe. This is just me envying people that went there. I'll just post some pics/videos I saw from other people that made me geek out.

Okay, let's start with statues. As you know, I'm a collector of statues and busts. So here are some very nice new statues from Sideshow.

Blackest Night Begins!

Finally Blackest Night has begun. An event I've been waiting for a long time has finally made its way into the Green Lantern universe. The dead will rise and will annihilate all sentient life! The War of Light is currently occuring, while the prophecy of the Blackest Night is slowly unveiling itself.

The Green Lantern Corps will experience it first hand as they are in the center of it all.

ToyCon 2009

The 8th Annual Hobbies, Toys and Collectibles Convention is finally here. Even the A(H1N1) didn't scare collectors from going in the event. Rumors started spreading about Megamall having A(H1N1), but when it comes to toys, collectors could care less about the virus. So go here and feed the collector inside of you.

Thor Jokes

Since I'm corny and really lazy to do things that I have to do, I've come up with some Thor jokes last night until today. Why Thor? I don't know. He just came up to my head. We all love our favorite God of Thunder, right?

Maybe his might has come down into my head and told me, "Make jokes about me mortal!" And so I did. Some are really corny and lame that it will make laugh nonetheless.

Sony E3 2009 Press Conference

Since I only have the PS3 and PSP, I was just interested in the Sony conference. Sony's press conference took 2 hours long, while Microsoft's and Nintendo's were only 1 hour each. So what's up for Sony? Lots of things.

Sony announced lots of games and new products - such as the PSP-Go and a new motion sensing controller (like that of Wii).

MG 1/100 God Gundam

Finally after a long time I finished my MG God Gundam. Getting yourself a kit of God Gundam nowadays is freaking hard (but there's always something on the net). So when I got the chance, for a good price too, I immediately took it no questions asked.

No offense to the the fans, but I think the only good thing to come out of G Gundam, aside from the 2nd opening song, is this kick-ass Gundam. I found the story slapstick and humorous, but I know the creators intended to do that to get out of UC setting.
