Parallax Returns...Again?

I was browsing through the solicitations for DC Comics in January of next year and I came across this cover for Green Lantern #50. What's so intriguing about this cover is it shows a character that I haven't seen for years - Hal Jordan as Parallax.

This maniac killed every Green Lantern there is and eventually destroyed the planet of Oa. However, I still find him as a cool villain, even if he was just a way to later introduce Kyle Rayner as the last Green Lantern.

So will we see him again next year?

Here's the official solicitations info from DC:

It's an anniversary issue so it will be a double sized issue. I wonder what the Jim Lee variant looks like.
