'Suicide Squad' Is Messy and Utterly Pointless

It is no secret that Warner Bros. is already eating dust when it comes to successfully bringing out DC Comics' characters onto the big screen that aren't named Batman or Superman. And that should come as no surprise, seeing how Suicide Squad is littered with glaring cliches and doesn't have the slightest clue of where its headed.

Remembering Darwyn Cooke

Darwyn Cooke, the award-winning comic book creator, passed away recently on May 14th. He was 53. There were never any reports of him going through health complications as I recall, but suddenly his wife Marsha Cooke announced he was receiving palliative care following a bout with aggressive cancer.

My Top 10 Movies of 2015

Another year has come to a close and because of that it's time for a top 10 list of best movies in 2015. In my opinion it has been a great year for movies. While the market was pretty much dominated by big franchise sequels, a lot of them were really good and the diversity in genres is much appreciated (not much superhero movies this time).
