In anticipation of the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer that is set to drop on February 18, USA Today talked with director James Gunn and actor Chris Pratt about the overall look and feel of the film. They also posted three new images from the movie, giving us a peek on the Guardians team - Star Lord, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot. Plus, we get a new look at the Milano, the team's spacecraft, and a close-up of Pratt as Peter Quill and his blue eyes.
"Being stuck in space with no accountability makes for a strange combination of youthful vibrancy and cluelessness in a childlike man. He does some things that most people wouldn't get away with. But part of his arc is being willing to essentially sacrifice himself for the greater good of other people," says Pratt of his character Peter Quill a.k.a. Star Lord.
Director James Gunn describes the movie "as someone's favorite indie band finally hitting the big time."
Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn and opens on August 14, 2014.
