Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles First Trailer Features Creepy Turtle Lips; Plus New Posters

Paramount Pictures and Nickeledeon have released the first trailer for upcoming Michael Bay-produced reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Plus take a look at four new simplistic posters showcasing each of the turtles signature colors and weapons.

The trailer gives us a first look at the Ninja Turtles that is sure to be controversial to fans. The turtles have notably gained nostrils and seemingly human lips, departing from the more turtle-like appearance from the previous incarnations. We also see Megan Fox as April O'Neil in a yellow jacket and William Fichtner looking at what seems to be Shredder's helmet.



Furthermore, Paramount Pictures has also recently debuted four simplistic posters. Although each poster only shows each Ninja Turtle's hand holding a weapon, the colors and type of weapon give away which turtle is which. Interestingly each of the four turtles garb are designed differently.

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Michael Bay, the film stars Megan Fox, Johnny Knoxville, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, Tony Shalhoub, William Fichtner, and Will Arnett. It opens August 1 locally.
